On Wednesday 2nd October the VIS held its annual Open Day. Over 2400 people attended along with many of our Academy athletes.
There were lots of activities that everyone was able to do along with meeting the VIS elite athletes.
Toby Sexton [BAS Kayaker] decided to try the Rowing Victoria test on the ergo.
At the end of the day, he held the record for all participants with a time of 16.3 seconds for 100 metres. If he hadn’t slipped at one stage, he would have made it to the elite level.
